This fisherman on the breakwater reminded me why I love black and white photography so much. It\u2019s not just an aesthetic choice, but a different way of seeing. Without color, everything focuses on lines, contrasts, and light. Here, the sea and sky almost merge, leaving all the attention to the man\u2019s silhouette and the textures of the concrete.<\/p>\n

Black and white removes the superfluous. We forget the changing colors of clothes or the sky. What remains is the essential: a simple moment, rooted in a long photographic tradition, which could have been taken fifty years ago as well as today.<\/p>\n
