Biography of Loïc Delplanque

Loic Delplanque photographer and graphic designer in Morbihan

Who am I?

My name is Loïc Delplanque. Art has always been part of my life - drawing, photography, graphic design...

From a very early age, I was attracted to everything to do with images and visual creation. But like many people, I first took a different path. For more than 20 years, I worked in a very different profession, but I kept this passion inside me, without ever really giving it up.

A few years ago, I made an important decision: to leave everything behind and devote myself to what really drives me. For the last 5 years, I've been making a living from my work as a photographer in Morbihan.

Today, I put my eye, my experience and my sensitivity at the service of your projects. I bring your ideas and ambiences to life with my own sensitivity. Always with the intention at the centre, with high standards - and above all, with passion.

This job is more than just a job: it's an obvious choice. Each project is an encounter, a new adventure to bring to life in images.

On the photography side, I believe an image only has value through the intention behind it. Reproducing a place in a purely faithful way isn’t what I’m looking for. For me, the strength of a photograph lies in the creative impulse that drives it. It’s that intention that gives it life and soul.

My inspirations include Ernest Pignon-Ernestfor his committed urban art. I also appreciate the way Serge Gainsbourg played with words and freed himself from convention. In painting, I am sensitive to the colourful modernity ofAmaury Duboisto the unbridled surrealism of Salvador Dalí or Man Ray and the strength of Gustave Courbet.

In the end, each photo or poster reflects a part of my career, an artistic journey nourished by my values, my passions and my constant desire to explore new horizons.
